H Arthur Missirlian, DDS was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 1983. Dr. Missirlian graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1987. After graduation, Dr. Missirlian opened a practice in Omaha, Nebraska where he practiced until moving to Colorado in 1997 and purchasing a practice in Fort Collins. Dr. Missirlian has continued to make going to the dentist easier and pain free for patients by improving his skills through continuing education. Dr. Missirlian and his wife were married in 1981, and have two children, Brian and Tara. Dr. Missirlian enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Missirlian is heavily involved with mission work throughout the world. He has been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world and provide dental treatment to those that would otherwise be unable to receive such care. In Israel, he volunteers in a public health facility that provides dental care to the underprivileged. In Mexico, he set up a clinic in the city of Torreon that provides free dental and medical care to the locals, and travels into the remote villages where often times he is the first dentist ever to set foot there. In Cambodia, he goes into orphanages to provide dental care to children. In Ethiopia, he provides dental care during large medical clinics where thousands come hoping for treatment.

Alissa R Ferguson, DMD

Alissa R Ferguson DMD was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated Magna Cum Lade with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 2003. From there, Dr. Ferguson attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she received the Dean’s Scholarship for academics and leadership. She graduated in 2007 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. In July 2007, Alissa married Ian Ferguson DMD and the two are excited to make Fort Collins their new home. Dr. Ferguson enjoys spending time with her husband, and spoiling their golden retriever, Buddy. She also enjoys skiing, painting, and learning to play tennis.
Dr. Ferguson first became interested in dentistry purely for her love of science, art, and people. Her philosophy of dentistry is quite straightforward. She desires to provide each of her patients with exceptional care in the most comfortable environment possible.
